Jim is staying another night because his blood pressure is too low. So they are giving him more IV fluids and changing his pain medicine to lower dose. It wasnt that bad spending Thanksgiving in the hospital - as Jimmy is in North Carolina and Katie was spending Thanksgiving with her boyfriend Brandon. So Jim and I was planning a quiet dinner at home with the dogs :) The doctor just came in and said she was concerned about his weakness and falls lately even though he has been doing his physical therapy which should be strengthening his knee. So they are doing an MRI tomorrow to rule out a stroke. If it is negative the doctor said the falls are probably just because he is taking longer to build back up his knee muscle. Gosh seems like his knee is giving him more problems then before his replacement but I guess complications happen and Jim just takes longer to heal as we know how long it has taken for him to get back to normal from his illness when we were in North Carolina and became septic after colon surgery and as most of you know he has been in the process of getting better from that and does pretty well most days. That is also why they wanted to wait until last month to have another surgery again. I hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving as the most important theme is being thankful for all we have. So many people that dont have much or anything to look forward to and Jim and I are thankful for being together, have 2 wonderful kids, Jims Mom and my Dad still part of our life and my 2 sisters and Jims brother. Although we have lost so many family members over the past 2 years - my Mom, 2 of Jims brothers Tom and Randy, my aunt, and a couple of friends here in Alpena.- we are still thankful for our family and friends to keep us laughing, talking, and in Jims case political views. We love you all and Happy Thanksgiving..... Hopefully Jim will be able to get out tomorrow as we have a funeral to go to for a friend who had a bad car accident and passed away last weekend. We feel so sad for his family as they go through this tragedy during these holidays.... God Bless you all.
