.. .......Jimi Hendrix went to England so he could meet Jeff. .....Jeff put them in there and thats a fact! He broke them into the American market. All their hits were during his tenure. What happened when Eric Clapton and Jimmy Page left the Yardbirds?, nothing. Clapton didnt show up for their 1993 Induction because he knew Jeff Beck was the Yardbirds and Jeff is the reason Eric has that 3rd induction and Page has that 2nd induction. Even Keith Relfs career went nowhere after he left to form his own group with Jim McCarty. Clapton formed Cream in July 1966 at the peak of The Yarbirds career. Page went off to form Led Zeppelin after listening to The Jeff Beck Group. These are some of Jeff Becks live recordings plus 2 vocals on the BBC with The Yardbirds. His revolutionary and innovative guitar style inspired many of the Punk Garage Bands on this site. The Yardbirds en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Yard...
