In the spirit of piling on, his right eye has bothered him since he opened it after surgery. Opthomology has been asked to come by, but his nurse and I have lobbied for numbing drops so he can rest. The chief neurosurgical resident agrees,and if Ive learned anything over the last 4 1/2 weeks its that when the ICU doctors disagree with NeuroSurg its to put my money on the team that does surgery. #neurosurgeryalwayswins I smiled when I rode up on the elevator with a yawning young man wearing an *awfully* new looking white coat embroidered with Neurosurgery and a name I didnt recognize. I introduced myself to the new resident and left it for someone else to tell him that by new resident standards, a 5:50 arrival meant he was late. đŗ
