Jn.10:1-42 And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice. ....The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep. But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep. Ensure that you are being led of the Lord to do whatever you do. That is when He will go before you to make the crooked places straight. Then also, Hell keep speaking to you giving you needed directions and youll hear His voice. Choosing to do your own thing without the Lord, can rob you of these benefits. Dont go where the Lord has not led you. Moreover, there is a WOLF loosed that is ready to devour any sheep without a shepherd. The Lord is our shepherd but He carries out that function through His under-shepherds (Pastors of churches). And that is one reason why it is NOT good to stay out of church or to be without a pastor. If you are such a believer, you are not playing safe. You need to belong to a good church under an anointed Pastor and make sure you attend regularly and submit yourself to him so he can pastor you. If you are a Pastor, make sure you are faithful and take proper care of those that the Lord has committed to you. You cant afford to be like an hireling - eternal destinies are at stake.
