JoHanna emailed--HELP! I found out some terrible news that has literally brought me to tears. I NEED to find a different Prosthetic doctor ASAP, I request he or she is An AMPUTEE themselves. I do Not wish to see a Non-Amputee because it took 12+years to even find (omitted) who is an amputee himself and has been THE ONLY prosthetic doctor to ACTUALLY HELP ME and not jus make crappy prosthetics that break and collect the money for a less than perfect job. I live in WI and would consider traveling to see the doctor I desire, I do not want a repeat of my childhood. I need someone whos going to fully understand what Im going through and Exactly where I want to be.
