Joan Rivers made it possible for a lot of comics to be here. She created a different kinda comedy that opened doors for people like me. I meet her 4 times. I was at her house twice in BH. I knew her asst. Les when I was a kid and she paid me to drive a dirty suite cast to San Diego. When I got there the guy laughed his head off that was Joan always funny. I also drove her Dad and his wife to Palm Springs once and they complained all the way. I felt at home! I also saw her in a her recent play and chatted with her from the stage. She dished me and put me in my place :).I loved it! I worked with her only once on Broadway at the Town Hall Theatre. It was one night show. She took pictures with us chatted and made jokes as a disco ball fell on stage and almost knocked out a drag queen. She made me lol and I always wanted to see more her as an actress. She was great on Louie and I saw here on Broadway Bound. She was really so good. I will miss her so.... much love to here family and close friends Jason
