Job 14:14 says, If a man dies, shall he live again? All the days of my hard service I will wait, till my change comes. Job understood something that you and I need to understand. Don’t ever make life altering decisions when you’re in the midst of a storm, wait until the storm has passed. Sometimes people have trouble understanding that it rains on the just as well as the unjust and some people’s theology is obscured in thinking that when you get saved you’re never going to have drama, but the truth of the matter is that being saved doesn’t circumvent trouble from coming to your house. The problem is that people only want sunshine and nobody really wants cloudy, rainy days, but you have to have cloudy, rainy days in order to really appreciate the sunshine.
