Job 3-18: Part-time job at Morningside Location: Jerusalem Entry-Level Morningside Translations is an international language services company offering a variety of foreign language support services to global corporations, law firms and government organizations. Morningside’s primary services include document translation, interpretation, website localization services, large-scale foreign language document review, and other language-related and legal services. With its headquarters in New York City, Morningside has an entrepreneurial work environment with an energetic and talented staff. Morningside is seeking a vendor sourcing assistant for its Jerusalem office, to assist the operations department in proactively growing the vendor database. This position will report to the Vendor Manager and will be a part-time role. Essential Functions - Proactively search for new vendors in multiple language combinations, utilizing existing resources and developing innovative sourcing techniques - Reactively search for new vendors according to new projects received by Sales or Operations staff - Evaluate potential vendors based on education, experience, and rates - Accurately communicate information about vendor candidates to Vendor Manger, and as needed, assist Vendor Manager with screening - Maintain credentials and records for vendors in company database - Prioritize both project-specific and ongoing vendor needs - Perform other tasks and cross-train with other positions as assigned Qualifications (Demonstrated Ability in the Following) - Outstanding written and verbal communication skills - Strong research skills - Highly organized and detail-oriented - Strong ability to multi-task - High energy and entrepreneurial spirit - Technical/analytical skills Education and Experience Requirements - Bachelor’s degree - Strong computer and desktop publishing skills - Foreign language proficiency in one or multiple foreign languages a plus Please send relevant resumes to: jgoodman@morningtrans Tell them you heard about the position from Nefesh BNefesh.
