Job Announcement Assistant Professor of French UO Posting #13360 The Department of Romance Languages invites applications for a tenure track position at the rank of Assistant Professor with a specialization in 19th-Century French Literature and Culture, beginning in September 2014. We are specifically interested in candidates with additional expertise in early 20th-century France, up to and including WWII. We welcome applications from candidates with expertise in translation studies, European studies, and/or women and gender studies. The successful candidate will teach courses at the upper-division undergraduate and graduate level, as well as a general education course. We are a creative department in the process of enhancing our program and seek candidates with a strong publication record, demonstrated excellence in teaching, and professional level proficiency in French and English.
