Job Announcement The KSMC (Khmer Scientific Media Center) is an independent media company in Cambodia and is seeking qualified candidates to fill the position of reporter as follows: Editor: 1 position Job requirements: • At least 2 (two) years’ experience in Media • Bachelor’s degree in journalism or an equivalent degree • Knowledge of media law and professional ethics • Those who specialize in certain area such as tourism, travel, entertainment and leisure news are highly welcomed. • Computer literacy (must be able to type Khmer Unicode well) • Very good in Khmer and English, Speaking and Writing • Available to work in a high pressure environment • Ensuring the final draft is complete and there are no omissions • Handling reader complaints and taking responsibility for issues after publication Translator: 1 position Job requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in English • Proficient in English, good in listening, speaking, reading, writing and translation skills, have knowledge of a certain understanding of the media. • Can translate form English to Khmer and from Khmer to English • Available to work in a high pressure environment • Computer literacy (must be able to type Khmer Unicode well) Interested candidates should submit their cover letter and CV to email address: kongvanno110@hotmail; Tel: 017 355 554 Deadline: July 15, 2014 Note: Only short-listed candidates will be contacted for interview.
