Job Description Roles at this level ensure the provision of a safe and environmentally compliant work environment for all Qatargas and contractor personnel in an assigned area of the operation. This includes developing and monitoring procedures, delivering training programs and carrying out field inspections and audits. There is also a role in incident control and the subsequent investigation of causes, and preparation, review and assessment of statistics. This role also includes mentoring and supervising Trainees and Developees. Required Qualification Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a science discipline or equivalent education and experience. Required Experience A minimum of 6 years varied experience in industrial safety is required.Role holders will have gained a depth and breadth of operational safety, environment and quality expertise that enables them to undertake non-routine troubleshooting. They will also have exhibited team leader potential, a strong commitment to health, safety, environment and quality issues and be able to communicate effectively in written and spoken English.
