Job Description : Senior Network Engineer - 1 Position [Salary RM 4000 - RM 5000] - Key Duties & Responsibilities: 1. Design and implement network infrastructure for new projects (including planning, testing and hand-over of circuit ID). 2. Constant monitoring of network performance, capacity and availability. 3. Identify, diagnose and resolve network problems. 4. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all implemented networks and service calls. 5. Manage NOC operations in terms of shift scheduling. 6. Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support as and when required. 7. Assist in preparation of proposals and solution presentations. 8. Provide second level support to resolve complex technical problems received from customers. 9. Provide customer support services to high priority customers. 10. Assist Network Engineers / Technicians in dealing with technical enquiries. 11. Document trouble resolutions via the use of trouble ticket system. 12. Participate in 24x7 work rotation. 13. Other duties as assigned. - Required Education, Training, Experience & Skills: 1. Minimum 3 years experience of network administration. 2. Hands-on experience in implementing and administrating network devices, setting and maintaining policies and rights/security. 3. Practical level experience in implementing and administrating common TCP/IP based services. 4. Working knowledge of common network monitoring and security utilities. 5. Bachelor’s degree (preferably engineering / computing related). 6. Ability to prioritise and multitask. 7. Willingness to learn new technologies and maintain industry knowledge. 8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 9. Excellent customer presentation skills. 10. Ability to lift, carry, and move components of PC workstations, servers, network equipments, peripherals, and other ancillary equipment. 11. Ability to travel as and when required.
