Job: Movie Theatre Pre-Feature Coordinator/Video Editor Job Summary: This position will manage the upload, distribution and play out of pre-feature content (commercials/features) at all Megaplex theaters. Upload from commercial/content logs and monitor for verification. Also video edit station promotion and commercial projects as needed. Quality control is job one! Specific Accountabilities and Responsibilities: Protect the moral, legal and financial well-being of the Company Continually teach associates new and better ways of doing business with and emphasis on STEWARDSHIP, ACCOUNTABILITY, LEADERSHIP and GUEST SERVICE. Upload from commercial/content logs and monitor for verification. Responsible for upload and monitoring of all digital signage throughout theaters. Edit station topical and generic promotion Edit commercial proejcts as needed Assist in production of weekly programs airing on KJZZ Train new employees on the system and procedures All other duties as assigned Knowledge and Skills Must be an adept trouble shooter who can find solutions under pressure and will be the preeminent expert on the pre-feature system. Computer/IT skills critical. Video editing experience. Basic video production skills needed: simple camera operation, prompter, lighting etc. Must be able to work well with people with diverse interests and responsibilities related to the pre-feature. Bachelor’s degree in Communication Arts or Radio/TV/Film preferred but not required. Must possess excellent organizational skills, good verbal and written communication skills and proficient in computer usage Available to work occassionally on weekends and overnights. Must be able to pass a pre-employment background and drug screening Physical Demands Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
