You will be reporting into the Process CoE Leader for accounts payable process (B2P) •You will manage the wing to wing B2P activities like invoice processing, payment, closing, reporting, statutory & build a strong Controllership. •Ability to translate your STRONG Accounting/ Controllership experience through strong process establishment, fortified systems & mentoring •Motivate & Engage the team members reporting to you towards building them as critical finance talent. Groom yourself for to be strong finance talent for GE. •Support the business on B2P activities and be the SPOC for businesses you are managing •Strengthen controllership through process standardization opportunities and identify best practices and apply them in the business you are managing •Ensuring Statutory Compliances - TDS, EPF, VAT, Service tax etc for the assigned businesses. •Support the Audits – Statutory, Tax, Internal, Transfer pricing, etc for these entities •Prepare periodic MIS, Dashboards and other matrices for presenting in review meetings with Top Management & Business Finance Leaders of the assigned entity. Qualifications/Requirements •Graduates/Post graduates/MBS (finance)/CA Inter with 5-8 years of experience in handling AP function in shared services or manufacturing set up. Qualified Chartered Accountant with 2-4 years post qualification experience can also be considered. •Hands on experience in Fundamental Accounting combined with STRONG Controllership experience in the early years of your career or currently is definitely desired. •Expertise in handling B2P process of one medium sized Indian entity preferred. •Experience in TDS, EPF, VAT, Service tax etc will definitely add value to your role as most of your role will revolve around the same. •Proven track record of facing customer, understanding their needs & translating the same into tangible results within assured timelines will be a tremendous advantage •Successful track record of leading a team & delivering results proactively is a highly desired attribute for this role. •Good working knowledge of Oracle Financials or SAP is definitely preferred for this role •Excellent interpersonal skills. •Ability to work and succeed within stretched timelines •The candidate should be capable of assuming responsibility and ownership
