Job Offered By Individual Company Bill McColman Oilfield Hauling Ltd Job Type Full-Time McColman Oilfield Hauling Ltd., based in Brooks, Alberta, is currently looking for a Heavy Duty Journeyman Mechanic to join our growing fluid hauling business. McColman hauls emulsion, produced water, frac water and brine fluids in tridem and Super B trailers with our fleet of 38 tractors. The Heavy Duty Journeyman Mechanic will play a key role in maintaining efficient operations for the Company. As a Heavy Duty Journeyman Mechanic you will: • Operate out of our fully equipped, well lit maintenance shop. Nearly all of your time will be based in the shop with the occasional local field trip in the event of a breakdown. • Perform all required repairs on tractors, trailers and other equipment as required. You will also assume a supervisory role in managing other members of the shop staff including Apprentice Mechanic(s). • Be licensed by the Province of Alberta to do Commercial Vehicle Inspections (CVIP). • Oversee and perform the required maintenance as required for all equipment. • Be a self-starter that proactively sees what needs to be done and gets things done as a key part of the maintenance team.
