Job Opening Position for WSH Manager Client is a Swiss MNC in the escalator and elevator industry. Reporting to the MD. Job Description - Assists the management to implement, maintain and continually improve organization’s safety and health management system according to local and corporate requirements as well as OHSAS 18001 or equivalent standards - To ensure compliance to local safety codes and regulations and be the responsible person to inform relevant people in the Company in regard to updates and changes - Drive safe behaviour management process to build Safety Culture in the company - To plan, execute and administer necessary Safety and Health Trainings for local organization based on clearly defined training needs - Execute as well as coordinate both internal and external Safety Audits as the need arises - To continuously work with the Corporate / Regional Safety Manager or functions in formulating and driving of safety initiatives - Review and consolidate company’s safety statistics and report to the management team in order to drive safety improvement action in the Company - Represents the company in local contacts with legal agencies / insurance companies when required - When required, execute the role of a Workplace Safety and Health Officer as per stipulated in the WSH Act - Support Myanmar branch with operations in various Safety and Health management and initiatives to be aligned with Corporate requirements Critical Attributes Able to work closely with the management team as well as frontline staff. Possess in depth analytical skills Ability to drive changes successfully Be a people person Requirements Diploma/Degree in Engineering or related field. Good knowledge of WSH Act and other WSH related requirements in Singapore Experience in driving and maintaining effective Safety Management System Experience in driving Behavioural Based Safety programs in a company Minimum 2 years experience as Safety Officer / Manager MOM Registered Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WSHO) Those interested may forward your CV to safety4sg@gmail
