Job Opportunities in the European Commission The European Commission is seeking applications in order to set up a panel of candidates for vacancies arising in a range of professional fields, including: administration, audit, secretariat, ...economy, finance, ICT, languages, law, policy, program/project management and statistics. Successful candidates will be offered a fixed-term contract of a maximum duration of three years. As well as excellent salary and allowance packages, contracted agents will have access to training programmes arranged by the EU institutions, offering the best possible platform towards securing a full time EU post. Applicants must have a thorough knowledge of one of the 24 official EU languages (which includes Irish) and a satisfactory knowledge of a second (which must be English, French or German). Applications must be made online, and as vacancies arise, the European Commission services will search the database of completed applications and identify candidates to be invited for an interview. The majority of vacancies will be in Brussels (Belgium), Luxembourg (Luxembourg) or Ispra (Italy), although some positions may be open in other places of employment, such as Geel (Belgium), Karlsruhe (Germany), Petten (The Netherlands) and Seville (Spain).
