Must be a US Citizen and clearable we will process for an Interim Secret Clearance. Senior Network Administrator DoD Secret Clearance Senior Network Administrator, experienced in the installation, configuration, performance tuning, and maintenance of LAN/WAN infrastructure and access layer networking devices. Participates in the development and implementation of complex, secure networking systems, including client /or OEM proprietary product integration. Background: Clients “Cloud” program, with a U.S Government Customer, has a need for an experienced and growth minded network administrator. This network administrator will assist in the design, development, hardening and maintenance of an enterprise class network. The selected candidate will work directly with the program management and system administrators to determine the best solutions for technical challenges and user satisfaction. DoD Secret Clearance required. Job Duties: Job Duty 1 - Configure and STIG Juniper SRX3400, EX4200, EX4550, F5 Load Balancer Job Duty 2 - Evaluate and manage network capacity, performance and utilization Job Duty 3 - Resolve technical defects, perform network equipment patch and update, and perform system repairs Job Duty 4 - Recommend and implement firewall rule changes, switch ACL changes Job Duty 5 - Assist with Windows and/or Linux system administration tasks. Basic Skills, clearances and other elements required, and number of years of experience: 1) DoD Secret Clearance with SSBI 2) Comptia Security+ Certification 3) Cisco/Juniper Firewall Experience, 3 years 4) Cisco/Juniper Switch Experience, 3 years 5) Experienced in the installation, configuration, operation and maintenance of network infrastructure and access layer devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, and network security devices. 5 years of experience 6) Experience with configuration of VLANs and VLAN trunking 3 years of experience. Ability to perform IP network troubleshooting, including firewall and VLAN issues, to resolution. 7) Experience with SSH, and encrypted authentication methods such as Radius or TACACS+ 2 years of experience. 8) Advanced knowledge of TCP/IP 9) Other: Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
