Job Opportunity – Youth Support Partner (YSP) (PT) – High Fidelity Wraparound – Philadelphia, PA: The High Fidelity Wraparound Team has a need for a part-time Youth Support Partner (YSP). The YSP will work as part of a joint planning team to assist adolescents with emotional needs (ages 10-17) and their families. The candidate must have personal childhood experience with one of the child servicing systems and be familiar with community and natural resources which provide adolescents and families with opportunities to succeed. Some of the responsibilities include: · Attend all mandatory county and state trainings. · Must complete training in the High Fidelity Wraparound Model. · Must become credentialed as a Youth Support Partner. · Provide direct support (in a limited manner) within the family-driven plan. · Assist with the linkage to natural and community supports. · Assist with crisis stabilization, when needed. Some of the key requirements include: · Personal experience with a child serving system such as Juvenile Justice, Community Behavioral health, Department of Human Services. · Possess life experiences that allow them to form healthy working relationships with adolescent and family members, as well other team members. · Knowledge of community and natural supports which provide adolescents and families with opportunities to succeed. · Ability to remain understanding, patient, culturally aware and respectful to the adolescent, family and additional team members. · Ability to role model effective behaviors. : The ideal candidate has a HS/GED and should be a minimum age of 18 and under the age of 25. In addition a valid PA drivers licenses is required. Access to a personal vehicle is preferred, but not required. This position requires travel throughout the city of Philadelphia.
