Job Summary The Quality Assurance Engineer will be responsible for testing new or modified software programs to verify that programs function according to user requirements and conform to established standards. The position involves developing test cases, tracking defects though their lifecycle and also be collaborating with software developers. Job Responsibilities 1. Create and execute test cases from the end user requirements and applications 2. Ability to systematically analyze new or existing software functionality 3. Working experience with SQL querying (SQL-Server; Oracle, etc...) 4. Extensive understanding of testing methodologies and general Quality concepts 5. Ability to understand and interpret a variety of documents such as technical specifications and user manuals 6. Logged defects during the test execution phase 7. Organized and participated in test plans walkthroughs 8. Test the application in functional and system integration testing Experience and Qualifications Candidate must have: 1. University degree within relevant discipline 2. Fresh graduates to 3+ years experience in Software Quality Assurance and Testing Competencies Required 1. Strong testing and documentation skills – MS Visio 2. Strong analytical and project skills 3. Strong communication and influencing skills 4.
