Job Title SHIPPING CLERK Job Location Dalton, GA Minimum Skills Employer requires one year experience as a shipping clerk. Job requires extensive knowledge of shipping procedures including freight rates, bills of lading, shipping labels and routing freight. Ability to handle position quickly with accuracy. Must follow-up with freight carriers when scheduling freight. LTL and TL experience. UPS and FedEx Software experience is also required. Must have a good phone presence and be familiar with with Microsoft Office and Windows. Drug screen and background check required. • 12 Month Experience • 12 Years Education • Must Be At Least 18 Years Old Preferred Skills Previous Accounting software and/or order entry software preferred. Also past rug or carpet shipping experience is helpful.
