Job Title: Web Search Evaluator Job Description: Web search evaluators work in a browser to provide feedback about the relevance of search results for a query. We will provide you with standards and scoring guidelines, personal support and training so you can be successful. We offer flexible work-from-home schedules, competitive pay and excellent training! Hours: 100 Hours of Work per month. Approximately 5 hours a day. WORK FROM HOME! Qualification: Passionate and avid interest working to improve internet search results. • Languages: Fluent in Written and Verbal English • An ideal candidate has lived in Singapore for at least 10 years and knowledge of singapore cultural interests, practices, businesses and Internet arena. • Experience navigating web browsers to access content • Experience using search engines to find information about restaurants, stores, and more • Excellent research and decision capability: ability to predict the possible intent of a search engine user’s search query and compare it to a web page to determine the relevance of the web page to the search query. • Current knowledge of social culture, media, sports, news, celebrities and businesses • Adaptable to change in evaluation standards and types of tasks. • Ability to work independently and possess good time-management skills. • Excellent troubleshooting, communication and problem-solving skills. • College degree preferred. Experience and ability are essential Technology Requirements: • Personal PC or laptop that runs Windows Vista or Windows 7 (please note: netbook devices, Windows XP and Apple OS, including Apple OS running on virtual environments, are NOT compatible with project), and a minimum screen resolution of 1280 X 768; desired resolution is 1280 X 1024. • A high-speed Internet connection (preferably unlimited usage; if limited, download cap must not be less than 50 GB per month). • Basic aptitude for solving technical/software issues independently.
