BRAAC focuses on behavioral techniques and offers very individualized one on one therapy in a variety of settings for students ages 2-22. The center is located in Roanoke, Virginia. BRAAC is seeking an energetic and experienced Special Education Teacher, who holds a Masters degree in Special Education and is licensed in Adapted Curriculum for our growing adolescent program. BRAAC will also consider Bachelor level candidates with impressive experience who holds a Collegiate Professional License or an experienced transition specialist who is eligible for a Provisional License. The candidate must be able to successfully create and implement data based programs in conjunction with a behavior analyst, develop meaningful lesson plans, continue to grow community based programs for our students, have experience administering assessments, train and supervise staff, develop and supervise implementation of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and Individualized Student Plans (ISPs), develop student progress reports, develop and implement appropriate reinforcement systems, and ensure quality programs.
