Job Vacancy @ Mekelle University School of Law The Mekelle University College of Law and Governance school of Law wishes to hire seven academic staffs (five lecturers and above, and two assistant professor and above). Recruitment would be conducted through open and transparent manner and based on the Mekelle university regulations. Details regarding screening procedures would be communicated to all applicants through email. Meanwhile, applicants are kindly requested to submit the following documents: 1. Updated CV 2. Authenticated academic credentials 3. Two recommendation letters from employer or university professor with one rank above the applicant 4. Other authenticated supporting certificates Specific Qualifications 1. The Applicant must have a masters degree in law 2. Applicants with the rank of lecturer shall have LL.B degree in Law 3. Master’s thesis must be very good and above. Applicants may show equivalence if their thesis is rated with letter grade or other methods. 4. The school would give special priority to academic staffs with the rank of assistant professors and above. The school also encourages applicants with publications in journal articles or profound text materials would be given priority 5. The school may consider the type of specialization on top of the above qualifications. As such, applicants with demonstrable credential and experience in public law (criminal law, administrative law, and constitutional law etc), environment and /or natural resource laws, and business law are highly recommended.
