Job Vacancy: Network Senior Engineer Job Description: • Provide technical management and design for Telecom - Fiber-To-The-Home (FTTH) Access Network related to the eCompound services in all PHD projects. • Provide technical management and design for PHD Corporate branches, sites & offices. • The network implementation should cover Core Network (Routing & Switching), Telecom, Security & Phone , GPON (FTTH) and all other network components in both o PHD eCompound projects o PHD Corporate branches & sites • Manage vendor relations ensuring selected vendors are providing optimal service at reasonable cost. • Monitor metrics to measure performance and availability. • Disaster recovery planning, training, and documentation for all network components • Ensure compliance with best practices, and policies and procedures. • Utilize professional project management to ensure projects are delivered on schedule and budget. • Responsible for the deployment, configuration, maintenance, and monitoring of all network components. • Implementing required network infrastructure, finding and fixing network faults, putting in place preventative maintenance schedules. • Installing new software and hardware, setting up user-accounts, permissions and passwords, maintaining adequate security, giving technical support to end-users. • Providing training on new systems, carrying out day-to-day administration and monitoring network use. • Planning and documenting of network equipment & future developments • Develops, maintains, and monitors procedures for all FTTH Access Network • Organization and inventory of all FTTH Access Network • Creates and maintains good technical documentation. • Leads and directs network team members to meet their objectives and provide necessary guide & support • Performs other duties as assigned. Contact Person: eCompound.MGR@phdint Job Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. • CCNP or CCSP or CCVP Certified is a plus • 2, 3 or 4 years experiences • Network knowledge include different type of networks, how different systems communicate (network protocols) – TCP-IP, and VOIP internet telephony, data transmission technologies – Ethernet, ISDN, ASDL, wireless, ATM, MPLS, network security – UTM, firewalls, security and virtual private networks. • Excellent written and verbal communications skills. • Strong organizational skills with the ability • Vendor management expertise.
