Job Vacancy Opening: Language Center Director in Kenitra, Morocco American Cultural Association Location: Kenitra, Morocco Required Education: Masters The American Cultural Association in Morocco is seeking applicants for the position of Center Director for the American Language Center (ALC) of Kenitra. The Director is responsible for managing the center in all aspects, including financial and operational management, overseeing the academic program, teacher recruitment, training and evaluation and teaching. The Center Director position is an entry-level administrative position and offers a modest salary plus annual bonus, 4 weeks paid vacation, use of the center vehicle, medical and dental insurance, including expat major medical with coverage outside Morocco, and a retirement plan. The ideal candidate for this position should have the following qualifications: - an MA or MS in TEFL; -at least 2 years of administrative/supervisory experience, preferably in an international context; - EFL/ESL classroom experience; - a communicative level of French and/or Arabic; computer literacy; - a high degree of cultural sensitivity and experience living/working in Morocco or a similar country (strong preference for candidates with Morocco-specific experience); - ability to work harmoniously with both Moroccan and non-Moroccan English-speaking staff; - US citizenship.
