Job Vacancy in Iraq / Erbil : Job Title: - Information Management Officer. Department: HQ – Information Management Unit. Responsible to: Information and IT Manager. Location: MAG Iraq HQ, Ainkawa, Erbil. Salary grade: - 980 $ USD/Month. Job Description MAG is seeking a qualified, experienced and dynamic Information Management Officers. The post holder, based in Erbil- Ainkawa but with regular travel to MAGs field operations bases, will play a central role in achieving MAGs goal and mission in Iraq. Job Purpose Under the direct supervision of the Information Manager, the incumbent will perform the following duties and tasks · Check the accuracy and completeness of information on forms. · Inform the Information Manager on inaccuracies of any data. · Quality assures all data received from the field and when required conduct field visits to support accurate data recording and information flow to IMU. · Populate MAG Iraq database on a weekly basis with operational data received from the field. · Maintain accurate paper records of all forms received and archived for review by the information manager. · File data received from field to be stored in or alongside the database. · Prepare output (queries and reports) as directed by the Information Manager. · Allocate donor coding to operational activities and outputs stored in the database. · Complete additional tasks as signed by Information Manager. Selection Criteria · Good working knowledge of both written and spoken English · Flexible and adaptable to any situation · Posses good working habits, analysis skills and accuracy · Ability to work under pressure and long hours · Excellent computers skills in the Windows 2000, XP, Excel, Access · Willingness to work in a multi-cultural environment · Completing additional tasks assigned by Information Manager Application procedure for the position The successful applicants will be those who best meet the required skills and experience for the position, as set out above.
