A dynamic, innovative, and hard-working individual is required to manage this busy facility; one of the four Centres within the Worthing Leisure business group. The successful applicant will be responsible for the day to day Management of the Centre to ensure that the centres facilities meet all the needs of both their users and occupants. Reporting to the senior management team of Group Operations Manager, Group Business Development Manager and General Manager, strong management skills as well as knowledge and experience of Quality and Financial management systems are essential for this post. You must also have the ability to deal with a high level of external enquiries along with excellent organisational and planning skills as the post will require you to conduct briefings, make presentations to staff, officers and members alongside preparing reports, memos and make recommendations. Therefore experience of planning,managing large events and a varied programme of activities is a requirement for this post. This post will normally be based at Worthing Leisure Centre, Worthing; however the post holder may be required to work at any of the division’s facilities according to the demands of the post, or at the discretion of the management team.
