Please forward your CV directly to us: Job Description of International Marketing and PR Candidate Under the supervision of the Director of Marketing, this position will assist and manage full range of marketing activities including penetration of emerging foreign markets initiatives for the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra. The candidate should have a fluent command of English in writing, reading and verbal skills. The position requires a strong marketing, communications, public relations and business background. Position Elements: International Marketing & PR • In coordination with the Director and team members to engage in ticket sales activities and coordinate marketing discussions for assigned subscription concert programs. • Initiate projects and PR ideas for Orchestra concerts, chamber music, modern Music (Ars Nova) series. • Primary marketing responsibilities and act as main contact for international communities in Seoul and foreign countries which includes: Expatriate communities, international schools, foreign Embassies, Hotels, touring facilities, international websites, and military communities. • Attend and assume responsibilities for sales, promotion and ticket distribution for concerts as assigned • Some interaction with artists in which the coordination of interviews as needed. • Serve as conduit of information from the Artistic Planning department to internal and external Marketing parties. • Analyze and research comparative business models of international recognized orchestras. • Abilities to create and produce brochures, posters and other POP marketing collateral. Position Requirements: • Knowledge of classical music and artists is not mandatory but a plus. • Well-developed critical thinking, problem solving and project planning skills. • Strong written and verbal communication skills at management and staff levels both formally and informally in English and Korean • Ability to develop and sustain professional relationships and collaborate internally and externally for the benefit of the organization • Strong attention to detail with demonstrable ability to multi-task and execute plans effectively in fast paced environment • Flexible schedule which includes ability to provide weekend and evening concert coverage as needed • Professional manager level desktop computing proficiency • Regular and reliable attendance
