Joe Biden Steps Up His Role In Promoting Obamacare AP | by By JOSH LEDERMAN Posted: 02/26/2014 5:35 pm EST Updated: 02/27/2014 7:59 am WASHINGTON (AP) — Vice President Joe Biden is stepping up his role in promoting enrollment in new health care exchanges as the end of the open-enrollment period nears. The vice presidents office says Biden will hold a number of conference calls this week to reach out to groups that are spreading the word about the health care law. Those groups include Latinos, African-Americans, women and young Americans. Biden trumpeted the health care overhaul this week on ABCs The View. On the show, the vice president urged mothers to encourage their children to sign up for coverage. Biden has also promoted the law during visits to Florida and Minnesota. The six-month enrollment period ends March 31. The Obama administration needs millions of people to sign up to keep premiums low for everyone. Question? If this new Insurance is so good Why dont any of the politicians have it?
