Joe Cockers track Summer In The City, from the album Have A Little Faith. I dont like the reggae feel to this, and I generally dont care for 60s songs covered years and years later, but Joe overcomes both of those hurdles IMO and delivers the goods. This video is priceless too, with his routinely disheveled appearance he looks like a wino looking for a drink. All in all it works, and works well for me. I think Id even like Joe covering The Lion Sleeps Tonight. NO-check that, NO!!!
