Joe and I watched two very impactful “movies” this past week. Forks Over Knives and Food Inc. I have learned, over the last year, so much about food and how it has drastically changed over the past 30 years. It is no wonder that we have a serious epidemic of obesity, a major increase in people with type 2 diabetes (especially children) and a multitude of other health issues which are significantly attributed to poor diet and lack of exercise. Does that mean people are lazy? NO! Does that mean that people aren’t trying to eat healthy? NO! It means that we are not being told the truth about our food, its sources and its ingredients. Along with many of you, I am making resolutions for the new year. My biggest one is to try to make better choices with food for my family. This is something I have always been bad at, “the food part.” I am thankful that just over a year ago we started drinking Shakeology. Only the best ingredients, all natural and produced in a clean and humane way. If you haven’t seen these movies, I HIGHLY suggest watching them. If you have any questions please let me know, I am not an expert, but I will help the best I can. Also check out this video about Shakeology. I will be including lots of information about better food choices and why they are actually more cost effective than most of the “less expensive” options out there in my January accountability groups. Tomorrow starts our prep and planning week, if you would like to join us you still have time, but it is running out!
