John - Some great thoughts. I am not a blogger and really dont try and make my points on FB but on a stage. However, in light of NHPW and all the good work we all do collectively, this makes for some good discussion and I am just adding another perspective with yours. Perhaps the former Zeta Phi Beta President/Host of The Chat, Sheryl Underwood, said it best on her show, Kiras sorority held her accountable for her actions. And if the information is true, the actions she joked about in writing to alumnae...they werent executed. It didnt come to fruition. Kudos to Alpha Phi for removing her BEFORE it was an action of hazing. Nope, she isnt perfect. But, if we were all held to perfection as an undergraduate, I certainly would not hold the titles of alumna, volunteer, Director of Prevention Education and - my favorite title - Mom. And for all of us volunteers, campus and HQ professionals when our chapter, organization or university makes the paper, is the information always 100% accurate? Nope, but the outside world believes it to be the exact truth...all too often. I am interested in the real truth that we may/may not ever know.
