John 11vs.3-7 Therefore his sisters sent unto him, saying, Lord, behold, he whom thou lovest is sick: 4 When Jesus heard that, he said, This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God might be glorified thereby: 5 Now Jesus loved Martha, and her sister, and Lazarus: 6 When he had heard therefore that he was sick, he abode two days still in the same place where he was: 7 Then after that saith he to his disciples, Let us go into Judaea again. There are two things that I want to highlight from these scriptures. 1) The sisters said, he whom you loves is sick. 2) After Jesus is told of the situation, he actually delayed going there by two days. Here we see that some difficult and unexpected things can happen to those who have deep fellowship with Christ. In all this you might even be wondering why he is not responding after you have already notified him of all the pain and suffering you are going through. However, the more the time it takes for you to get your answer the greater the miracle you will encounter. When you compare being healed and being raised from the dead you can see that the later almost seemed impossible and that is what Jesus wanted to demonstrate before the people. Jesus demonstrates his miracle power through those he loves. He allows them to go through a situation so that he can later show forth his power through them. It is highly possible that Jesus heared of your situation a long time ago but he is taking his time in order to show forth his amazing power when he comes. He wants you to be extra ordinary and outstanding and as such he allows you to firstly face the extra ordinary so that he will show forth his extra ordinary power as well. Do not dispair, do not be troubled but just remember that all things work for the good of those who love the Lord. Just dont give up the faith, keep the focus and be expactant of a miracle.
