John 2:1-12 In the first 11 verses of John chapter 2 the first miracle of Jesus is recorded. One of the most profound sermons I have ever heard preached was by Tim Keller on this passage. This passage is full of imagery that has to do with who Jesus is, what he came to do, what he came to offer, and how we receive what he offers. Jesus the Bridegroom, the true master of ceremonies comes to offer us festive joy by shedding his blood (the true wine) and we receive his work by faith.
