Jeremiah 16: 4-13 They shall die of grievous deaths; they shall not be lamented; neither shall they be buried; but they shall be as dung upon the face of the earth: and they shall be consumed by the sword, and by famine; and their carcases shall be meat for the fowls of heaven, and for the beasts of the earth. 5 For thus saith the Lord, Enter not into the house of mourning, neither go to lament nor bemoan them: for I have taken away my peace from this people, saith the Lord, even lovingkindness and mercies. 6 Both the great and the small shall die in this land: they shall not be buried, neither shall men lament for them, nor cut themselves, nor make themselves bald for them: 7 Neither shall men tear themselves for them in mourning, to comfort them for the dead; neither shall men give them the cup of consolation to drink for their father or for their mother. 8 Thou shalt not also go into the house of feasting, to sit with them to eat and to drink. 9 For thus saith the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will cause to cease out of this place in your eyes, and in your days, the voice of mirth, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride. 10 And it shall come to pass, when thou shalt shew this people all these words, and they shall say unto thee, Wherefore hath the Lord pronounced all this great evil against us? or what is our iniquity? or what is our sin that we have committed against the Lord our God? 11 Then shalt thou say unto them, Because your fathers have forsaken me, saith the Lord, and have walked after other gods, and have served them, and have worshipped them, and have forsaken me, and have not kept my law; 12 And ye have done worse than your fathers; for, behold, ye walk every one after the imagination of his evil heart, that they may not hearken unto me: 13 Therefore will I cast you out of this land into a land that ye know not, neither ye nor your fathers; and there shall ye serve other gods day and night; where I will not shew you favour. (correct me if im wrong). To me. This is saying that God gave up on us. That he had washed his hands of us. He is saying that even if Moses and Samuel came he still wouldnt change his mind. He told Moses and Samuel not to go to anyone funeral, dont eat with their family, dont mourn when the people died, dont do anything cause he (God) Have washed his hands of us. You have to see why he did it. Us (humans) gave our life to be saved, but we are put here living of the world. Jesus said you cant worship to 2 masters, you will hate one and love the other. That means you will either worship God and follow him or worship to world and be cast into a lake of fire for eternity. We as people so call love Jesus, but we are not showing it. People out here put on their Christian face at one moment and put on the worldy face the next. God said he rather have you hot or cold then luke-warm. He rather have lost or saved then to be picking the side at any giving time. We say we love God so much but how are we proving it? I bet if I was to ask you a verse in the Bible you couldnt stat me one. I am guilty of it to but I am making a change. We cant say we love God and we saved if we are out here living of the world. If you living of the world then you are not saved. You can say that prayer and all but it doesnt matter if you did it if you didnt mean it. That means you have to make a change for God. You have to read the Bible more, get out and go to Church. You should be able to walk up to somebody and say im off to Church and they say He or she is always going to Church, he or she is always reading their Bible and quoting verses for the Bible or something not when you say that you off to Church they say You go to Church, you sure dont act like it. I know its hard, I am a victim of it, but not nobody ever said its going to be easy. You just got to Pray and let God handle it, get around the right people, and you have most importantly want to make that Change.
