John 3:3 “Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” If someone asks you what religion are you? how do you answer? How do you answer when they ask what church do you go to? Or what denomination is your church? I realize none of those questions matter. It’s not about religion, it’s about relationship. Please let’s not get it twisted. If you call yourself Baptist, Methodist, Pentecostal, or anything else that has nothing to do with your relationship with Christ, we all sometimes slip up and answer those questions wrong thinking that’s the way we should be. What we should be is Christ like and in order to be that you must seek His face and learn of His ways and do what He did, not out of obligation but because you love Him and He loves you. That’s what relationship is. Many churches have rules and regulations they abide by that have no connection to what God wants from us. Some of you now attend churches that talk more about what you shouldn’t do then the fact that you should be in a closer relationship with Jesus Christ. If you have a closer walk with Him you won’t have to be told what not to do because you will know and in most cases won’t even have a desire to do it. Everyone today should sign up for relationship counseling, I know I am. Ask God today while praying is your relationship with His son Jesus Christ in tact? Trust me God will answer that question, but I’m sure the Holy Spirit would have given you the answer before you even got down on your knees. GBYRG. Deacon Littles. Greater Faith Fellowship
