John 6:54,55,56 - Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day. For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed. He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him. These words of Jesus must be ALLEGORICAL, and they must refer to what is entirely spiritual: for it is certain the apostles and the early ekklesia were possessed of eternal life. As many as were ordained to eternal life believed, Acts 13:48. No mention of the pre-requisite of eating his flesh and drinking his blood from Acts to Revelation. Then if his flesh and blood is to be considered as spiritual, and he says that it is, then so is the receiving of the same. If the eating and drinking is to be taken as to life, and he says that it is, THEN THIS MUST BE INWARD ASSIMILATION IN LIVING UNION. Then the accomplishment of Jesus words will be in the gospel of Christ, and it will be communicated by his voice from the glory, sounding by the Spirit on earth, for the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life. John 6:63. Here in reality of the eating and of drinking of his flesh and blood, appears to faith with power in experience. Though never by perverting his words in grotesque and theatrical parody. Christ in his death is evidently set forth, crucified among us, as from the glory, by the Spirit, through the apostolic preaching, those who are of faith thus eat of my flesh, and drink of my blood, Galatians 3:1 That is, as opposed to once or twice a week, under the bondage of a false priestcraft, in some temple made with hands, with deception over beggarly element.
