John 7:24 KJV Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment. Since the Lord tells us in another scripture judge not lest ye be judged, it stands to reason that we must read all the scriptures before and after a verse. The Lord is not a hypocrite nor does he double talk. No, when one reads all passages and uses good wisdom it is obvious that the scripture regarding not judging is dealing with hypocrisy which the Lord hates, when read in its entirety yet those who dont know the Lord or the scriptures seem to love to use it out of this context to make it look like we must never say anything or anyone is wrong or we are judging. This is false! On the contrary, we are told to warn those in sin or we will account for their life when they die lost, we are told we will know a tree by its fruits, what would have been the purpose of teaching us this valuable information if its wrong to use it? It is how we will know the good from the evil because an evil tree wont produce good fruits and likewise a good tree wont produce evil fruits, this is not judging as the world would have us believe, it is knowing the facts and stating the truth in love when warning someone. Just my thoughts for today :)
