It was hard for the people of His day to grasp that Jesus Christ was God in the flesh, but that was not because Jesus was vague. Many times our struggle is not with the clarity of Scripture, but with the claims of Scripture—claims so unique that they challenge how we see the world, and we are fearful of change. So the question is not if Jesus saw Himself as God—He did. The question is do we see Him as God, and what does that mean for the way that we live?
