However I have installed the family genealogy on the computer going back several generations into the 1600s. When my computer that I have been using for the last six years failed my heart dropped int my boots. I acquired a new computer but all of the programs and files on the old hard disk were gone. I have DVD backups for a lot of the files but not for the Genealogy file. I had begun to resign myself to the fact that the Family Tree File was gone. I have printed copies of most of the entries but putting them back on a machine was really more than I could bear. I am involved with the Bitterroot Valley College and when I mentioned my problem to Victoria Clark, the director she refered me to Advanced Data Recovery in Hamilton, Montana. I took my problem to them without the slightest hope of having it solved. Everyone in that office were very knowledgeable. They were all most polite and careing. I was just a local yokel and I was treate like I was Bill Gates. They assured me they could recover the lost files and in 48 hours I had all of the lost files handed to me on an external hard disk. There is absolutely no way I can express my feelings of joy other than to say, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, John R.
