John Boehner, the House (regardless of what the President does) could initiate a bill setting out funds for deportation, building fences, and contingent on sending the National Guard to the Border, or with other clearly defined limits on the funds expenditure such as not allowing illegals to cross except at border check points. ___________________________________________ The request comes just days after Obama announced that he was giving up on a year-long effort to persuade House Republicans to support a comprehensive immigration bill. The president said he would take executive actions to reform border-control laws on his own — a declaration that angered the GOP.
