John Didden Update: His psychologist and Dr. both called last night to talk about Johns condition. They say he has Post Traumatic Amnesia. He continues to talk about Carol, even though he has been told she passed away in the accident he still thinks she is around. At this point unless he asks they are not going to tell him again. They say he was in the coma so long it will take some time to get him back. The Dr. said medically he is in good shape. They are going to cap his trach for a few days to make sure he is OK without it and then they will remove it completely. His cat scan shows some fluid on the brain but he wants to look at the cat scans from Upstate hospital so he has something to compare them to. This too could be causing some of his memory issues. The facility he is in right now for rehab has been wonderful so far. The communication is second to none from these people. He did move the top of his left leg yesterday which is wonderful, first time. will keep posting updates as I have them.
