John Peel would have been 75 today. It is impossible to put into words how that one single man changed my life. He introduced me to so much. And what is important to remember here is that was no internet, Wikipedia Google and so on. So you listened to whole show and remembered all the interesting band names and then searched them out in your local record shop (remember them!?). Case in point, always remember hearing Echo & The Bunnymen for the 1st time and thinking, oh like that. But the LP sleeve was so mysterious with no proper pictures.....had to have it!
