John Sheets and I joined the army together in 74 on what was called back then, the buddy plan. Which meant where was of us went we both went. We were in ft. Leonard wood Missouri, ft. Knox Kentucky, and ft. Hood Texas. We lived off post most of the time together. John, his wife Jan and myself.. Those were so fun times. Sadly a couple of scumbag druggies shot and killed John while robbing him in his own home not all that long ago. The cowards shot him in the back, I hope both of them rot in hell.
