Join the CPUT Green Team and Clean C for a massive beach cleanup on Saturday 23 August 2014 at 10;00 am. Gloves and bags will be provided. Apart from standing the chance to actually see some whales at Bloubergstrand, you will also learn more about amazing environmental projects such as a. Beautiful youth leadership imbizo b. Beautiful future (Initiative focusing on children from Joe Slovo settlement) c. Beautiful recycling (ways to make money from recycling) Please make your own way to Big bay (Eden on the Bay, Cnr Otto du Plessis Drive and Blaird Street, Big Bay) or book a seat on the bus departing from CPUT CT campus at 09:15 promptly. The bus will return at 13:00. Let us all show the CPUT’s support by all wearing pink shirts (womens month) to the cleanup. Staff and students are more than welcome. No cost involved.
