Join us at the Bradley Museum for a look back to the past with old fashioned games, demonstrations of heritage skills including those of a blacksmith, the Mississauga Handweavers and Spinners and cooking in the historic kitchen. Drop by for a visit with the birds from The Canadian Peregrine Foundation and enjoy rides through the park on a horse drawn wagon. The day features live music with performances by The Mississaugas of the New Credit First Nation, jazz artist Arlene Paculan, singer/songwriter Joel Martin, folk musician Alex Sinclair and traditional Slovakian music. Visit the Log Cabin to enjoy displays and demonstrations of Slovakian Culture by the Slovak Museum. Experience an afternoon of crafts, music, activities and old fashioned family fun from a bygone era at the Mississauga Fall Festival. Don’t miss our current exhibit in the Anchorage ‘Cherished & Chosen’, a display of women’s fashion from the Museums of Mississauga collection. Admission to this event is free. Donations of non-perishable food items will be collected for the local community food bank. The Museums of Mississauga are part of the Culture Division, City of Mississauga with support from the Friends of the Museums of Mississauga.
