Join us at the Hispanic Heritage Exhibit Preview! Thursday, November 21, 2013 10 am to 11 am Briscoe Western Art Museum, River View room 210 W. Market Event is free and open to the public. The exhibit will include numerous displays that highlight the experiences of Texas’ first families, Tejanos, who settled in this area in the early 17th, 18th and 19th centuries. The Tejano Historical Portrait Series features Hispanic heroes from the Texas Revolution, the history of Tejanos, which shares the timeline of milestones that led to the creation and growth of Texas and the accomplishments made by Tejanos during this time period.
