Join us for Viva Cal! Jazz and Latin music blur in “Viva Cal!” the next event presented by the Tampa Jazz Club and HCC’s Visual and Performing Arts Series. The concert takes place on November 17 in the Mainstage Theatre on HCC’s Ybor City campus at 3:00 PM. Led by Bay Area percussionist Frankie Pineiro, this tribute to the late Cal Tjader features the legendary Kenny Drew Jr. on piano and young vibraphone phenomenon Cole Hazlitt. tampajazzclub/ Theatre is on the corner of Palm Avenue and 14th St. (Republica de Cuba) with free theatre and on-street parking, and the Palm Avenue Garage is one block west.
