Join us for a bat walk at Brimham Rocks as part of the Yorkshire Bioblitz on Friday 5th July(yorkshirebioblitz.wordpress/events/brimhamrocks2013/). The event begins at 9pm from Brimham Rocks car park and will be led by Professor John Altringham from Leeds University. It will include a nocturnal ramble around the rocks and through the woodland to observe bats hunting for insects. With the help of bat detectors, you will also be able to hear their echolocation calls. The walk is free of charge but places are limited so booking is required.
